Vacation, 4-year expansion of Bucks worth at least $ 134 million

MILWOICA (AP) – Milwaukee Bux defender Holiday Holiday has agreed a four-year contract worth at least $ 134 million if he uses his last season version.

The move marks the final step in Bax’s tough investment at Holiday: two-time MVP ian Anis Antetokunmpo and two-time all-star Chris Middleton as the franchise pursues its first NBA title since 1971.

“Ryu is one of the NBA’s top security guards, and we are delighted to have signed him to extend this term,” Bux CEO Jon on Horst said in a statement on Sunday. “Adding him to our team has made us better at both ends of the floor. “He is an elite defender, an influential attacking player with the ability to score goals, shoot and facilitate.”

The player’s $ 26.7 million player was left in the 2021-21 season as part of a five-year, $ 126 million contract he signed with the New Orleans Pelicans in July 2017.

Under the terms of this deal, Holiday rejects that option, but receives a base salary of $ 30.1 million next season, $ 32.4 million in 2022-23, and $ 34.7 million in 2023-24. He also has a $ 37 million option for 2024-25.

There are incentives that can increase the total value of the Holiday deal to almost $ 160 million.

Bucks’s investments in Holiday, Antetokounmpo դ Middleton, even without promotion, amount to $ 105 million in 2021-22, $ 113 million in 2022-23. And $ 120 million in 2023-24.

The 30-year-old has averaged 17 points, 5.4 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 1.8 steals in his first season with the Baxi this year. He is in the second place of the championship with thefts in one game.

The only other NBA players to have at least 16 points, five assists, four rebounds and a կոր 1.5 rebound this season are Miami’s Jimmy Butler, Denver’s Nikola Jokic and Toronto’s Fred Van Velayt.

Milwaukee paid a hefty price to buy Holiday off-season as it tried to strengthen the team, hoping to get a long-term commitment from Antetokounmpo, which signed a five-year $ 228 million supercharger in December.

The Bucks dropped the guard, Eric Bledsoe, Hill’s Hill, and the first-round draft, R.J. They also acquired second-round pick Sam Marilyn, and under the deal gave New Orleans the right to swap two upcoming first-round pickings.

This expansion comes at a time when Holliday is playing his best basketball player of the season. The 6-foot-3 guard has scored at least 22 points in each of its last four games. He scored 33 points, 11 assists and 7 assists on Saturday.
