TAMPA, Fl. (AP) – Thomas Grace made 27 stops to lead the Detroit Red Wings to a 5-1 victory over Tampa Bay on Sunday for their first road lightning victory in almost six years.
Mark Stahl, Walter Philpula, Michael Rasmussen, Darren Helm and Dylan Larkin all scored for the Reds, breaking three games without a win. Luke Glendening և Anthony Mantha each completed two assists for Detroit, who had lost 17 consecutive games in Tampa by Sunday.
Victor Hedman scored his seventh goal in Lightning. Christopher Gibson stopped 12 shots in defeat, and his suspension was made when he allowed three goals in the second half in 2:53.
Filppula opened the scoring with a goal in the 16:05 minute, Rasmussen made a mistake 29 seconds later, which went off the board, and Stal blocked the move – 4-0.
