Oklahoma coach Moser is adding assistants and support staff

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) – Oklahoma men’s basketball coach Porter Moser has hired KT Turner as assistant head coach and Emanuel Dildy as assistant coach.

They are among the six members he has added to his coaching staff. The school made the announcement in a press release on Friday.

Matt Gordon is the Special Assistant Head Coach: Director of Scouting. Clayton Custer is the director of video game development. Mike Sheffard remains the director of basketball operations, and Bryce Daub remains the director of force.

Turner spent one season as an assistant head coach in a Texas squad that won the 2021 Big 12 title. He spent the previous seven seasons at SMU. Dilde previously served three seasons with Moser’s Loyola Chicago and spent the last three seasons in the Northwest. Moser is expected to add one more assistant in the coming weeks.

Gordon և Custer joins the Shutters after serving in Mozer’s staff at Loyola. Custer was named Missouri Valley Player of the Year at Loyola and was a starting guard in the 2018 Final Four squad. Gordon has played for Moser every season since serving as St. Louis basketball operations director. He sent Moser back to Loyola, spent three seasons as director of basketball and seven as assistant coach. He was Loyola’s assistant in the fourth team of the 2018 final և 2021. Sweet 16 team.
