NY imposes dance “belts” – distance when weddings resume

ALBANIA, NEW YORK (AP) – New York-based coronavirus’s new dance rules are not exactly footloose, but they are not intended to cut freely;’s Sunday shoes are simply trampled on.

The state says that when wedding receptions resume next month, guests will be allowed to hit the dance floor only with members of their immediate party, members of the same family or family sitting at the same table.

The rules say that even in that case, the dancers must wear face masks to stay in their own “dance areas or belts.” Areas that must be at least 36 square feet (3.3 square meters) in size ված must be at least 6 feet (2 meters) wide. except for other dance zones and tables.

There are no transitional dance zones.

Happy couples can still spin for the first ritual dance, և other couples can join, but they should all be 6 feet apart.

Live music is allowed for other entertainers, but if they are disguised or playing a brass instrument, they must be separated from the participants by 12 feet (4 meters) or with appropriate physical restraint.

Governor Andrew Cuomo had previously announced that the wedding could resume on March 15. Places will be limited to 50% capacity, up to 150 guests, all must be tested for coronavirus in advance.
