Gibson makes 34 saves as the Ducks beat Sharks 5-1

SAN OSE OS, California. (AP) – David Becks (Nicholas Deslauriers each had a goal assist) and the Anaheim Ducks ended San Jose’s four-game winning streak against the Sharks on Tuesday night. With a victory of 1 point.

Anahem’s goal was scored by Adam Henrique, Isaac Lundestrom and Max Comtua, who suffered three defeats in a row. John Gibson made 34 saves.

“I’m really impressed with our boys’ preparation,” said Ducks coach Dallas Eakins. “One could feel that every boy was involved tonight.”

Patrick Marlon scored for San Jose in a power play, and Martin ones ounce made 29 stops.

“I thought they were a better team tonight,” said Shark coach Bob Buffner. “You have to give them. Gibson played well. “We had some chances, but we were not good enough in the long run.”

In the second game, Anaheim took control with three goals.

Comtua made it 2-0 when he scored his 11th goal in 24 seconds, transforming the possibility of a power play.

After Marlo answered instead of “Sharks”, Lundestriam made the sixth 3-1, 2:44. The Deslauriers played their fourth of the season with 4:41 minutes left in that period.

Bakes added an empty net to the third with 7:13, his third of the year. For Gibson, who scored his eighth win of the season, it was more than enough of a crime.

“I think it’s the effort we know we’re capable of, we’ve been looking for most of the season,” Bakes said. “We had a really good game, tonight was more than 60 minutes.”

MARLON IS IN CONSTRUCTION

Marlo scored his 565th goal, surpassing Mats Sundin and Eu Newvendik, finishing 23rd on his career roster. In the 22nd, Marlo is eight goals behind Mike Bossi.
