Cink-cess! Sink, 47, wins third RBC Heritage title

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (AP) – Stewart Cink filmed a steady, stress-free 70 on a record-breaking week to win his third RBC Heritage title on Sunday.

Kink, 47, graduated in Harbor Town between the ages of 19 and 265, four times better than Emiliano Grillo and Harold Warner III. Grillo scored 68 goals and Warner, who had the highest score of his career, scored 66 goals.

Kink hugged his son Cady, Reagan, after the 18th Greens closed. He, his wife, Lisa, and their other son, Conor, all hugged to celebrate.

“I do not even know if I have the words,” said Stuart Kink.

He won for the second time this season. Only he և Bryson DeChambo did it – և continued his revival on the PGA Tour at a time when many professionals his age were waiting for the PGA Tour Champions.

No Sink, who broke a 12-year unbeaten streak at the Safeway Open in September, added five more to the top 20 finals, including last week’s 12th draw at the Masters.

He won $ 1.278 million, almost as much as $ 1.404 million for his previous two wins at Harbor Town.

Cink is the fourth player to win twice in the same PGA Tour season after turning 47. The others are Sam Snaid, Julius Julius Boros and Kenny Perry, who have done it twice.

Cink was introduced for centuries. Breaking the 36-hole record in Harbor Town between 13 and 129 years old was shared by Jack E. Nicklaus and Phil Mickelson. Sink broke the 197-point mark below the 54-hole mark that Just Astin Leonard had in his 2002 victory.

Sink brought the final to the final five kicks, daring all the pursuers to come to him. No one ran to Sink, who hit at least three times throughout.

PGA Championship winner Collin Morikawa, along with Sink, opened with a bird of prey. But the boycotts of the second and fourth holes took Morikawa out of the mix.

The Maverick McNealy has five birds in front of it, climbing in the middle of the circle, 14 behind Cink. The 11th և 12th in a row ended the McNeely wave.

The Grillo և Varner were about 15 years old և only three returned until ink Cink’s last bird in the 3rd-17th.

In the first three rounds, Kink trained 17 birds and two eagles. He only had two birds on Sunday, but that was more than a claim to his eighth career victory.

In fourth place under 13 are McNeill (67), Canadian Corey Conners (68) and Englishman Matt Fitzpatrick (68). Morikawa dropped to seventh after 72, equaling Chris Kirk at age 67 (67).

Rankin Dustin John Onson tops the tournament with 66 points, finishing 10th out of 13th. John Onson was the November Masters champion, but missed the section last week; he never argued in Harbor Town.

“I just feel like I made a lot of mistakes,” he said. “Here, you make mistakes, they punish you quite a lot.”
