Booker, Paul led Suns to a 117-113 OT advantage over Jaz

PHOENIX (AP) – Deander Ayton kept jumping up and down the line, bypassing the shots missed by his Phoenix teammates. Devin Booker did not have a great shot at night, but at the same time the ball hit the edge.

Then there’s Chris Paul, a veteran Sensei war veteran who is a whirlwind of never-ending dribbling.

“Teams are struggling with our energy,” Ayton said.

One night, when the Arns were far from perfect, that energy led them to another victory. Booker scored 35 points, Paul added 29, and Pyunik beat Utah Azz 117-113 in overtime on Wednesday night in a fun game between the top two teams in the NBA.

The “Arords” scored the first five points in overtime, they did not lag behind others. Booker had a few clutch medium jumpers to keep the jazz from falling behind. Աց Paul was one point behind with 3 points, pushing the Phoenix 114-108.

Utah remained 114-112 in Mike Conley’s lead for 21 seconds but could never equalize. With 7.8 seconds left, Paul made two free throws to finally seal, ending the season with the rest of the game. Phoenix has won seven in a row.

“It was really hectic,” Booker said. “I thought both teams played well, they defended really well.”

The “Ar” took the lead in the fourth quarter with a score of 100-96 with a 3-meter shot by Crowder, two minutes left. Donovan Mitchell challenged the 3-pointer when Utah had 10.4 seconds left to make it 102.

Booker 3 was out of the sign in the buzzer. If the Suns were deflating, they would not show it.

“It’s only part of the game,” said Suns striker Cameron John Onson. “It simply came to our notice then. “We had to prepare in overtime to come back after them.”

Paul said: “I think we did well in overcoming the storm.”

Mitchell led Utah with 41 points. Bojan Bogdanovich added 20 points and Rudy Gobert had 16 points and 18 rebounds.

“We know what we can be,” Mitchell said. “We know we have work to do.”

The Jazz fell short of an 11-point deficit, gaining a 78-77 lead in the fourth quarter after Mike Conley struck home. It was a bruised game, the “men” had a 61-45 shot difference, which helped them win despite the mediocre shooting.

Ayton added 18 points և 12 rebounds. John Onson had 11 points and made 3 of 3 points out of the bench.

“With games like this, we really have a chance to show our depth,” said Paul.

Utah hit just one basket in the first five minutes, giving Phoenix time to take a 13-2 lead. Azz Az recovered quickly, leading 21-20 at the end of the first quarter.

But in the second, the “men” pushed forward with another, building an advantage of 51-40.

TWO WORKS TO ARMAN UR

It was a competition between two unexpected weightlifters at the Western Conference who have played better than expected this season. The Azz lead the NBA with a score of 38-13, 1 1/2 games ahead of the “men” (36-14).

Both teams enjoyed relatively good health, while rivals such as the LA Lakers and LeBron James Ames suffered injuries to key players.

The ARs are trying to quell the playoff drought that lasted more than a decade. Phoenix has beaten Utah twice this season, beating a three-game winning streak if it draws.

PACK ‘EM IN:

For the first time this season, the athletes reached the capacity of 5500 fans. That’s about 30% of the 18,000 plus seats in the newly renovated Phoenix Suns Arena.

“It looked like a full house,” Ayton said.
